Membership Terms & Conditions
Chamber membership is based on the number of salaried, hourly or commissioned full-time employees or equivalents*, including yourself, working at the business served by the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce. (* Equivalents are the sum of part-time employees combined to make full-time positions.)
The primary representative of a member business serves as the main contact. This representative receives the annual membership renewal notice (during the anniversary month of joining) and their name is published in the membership directory. This representative is the main contact for verification of all information about the member company.
Chamber membership dues are tax-deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense, not as a charitable contribution.
Failure to remit dues payment within 90 days of the renewal date will result in the termination of all membership privileges. Exceptions will be considered by the Board of Directors upon request. Former members may be reinstated upon payment of all prior arrearages unless there has been a change in ownership.
The company/business is the member; all employees of member businesses are permitted to attend and participate in chamber functions even if they are not listed as representatives.
Chamber membership may be terminated at any time in writing by the member. There is no refund on, or transfer of, chamber membership.
Businesses are recognized by EIN number. Cases of common ownership, with different EIN numbers are treated as separate entities. Therefore, separate memberships are required.
